====== PRICE, Graham Ruby ====== Graham Ruby from [[http://derisilab.ucsf.edu/index.php|DeRisi Lab]] at UCSF gave an overview of [[bioinformatic_tools:price|PRICE]], a //de novo// genome assembler. PRICE was originally intended for assembling viral genomes from metagenomic data where the target reads make up a small portion of the data set. It can also be applied to //de novo// assembly of larger genomes.
