Notes on Google Scholar: While a very powerful tool, Google Scholar has some serious issues. Many of them are elucidated in this article: Metadata Mega Mess in Google Scholar.
Google Books is currently in negotiations to release the scanned book collection of UCSC as well as those of other institutions.
