====== PRICE: Paired-Read Iterative Contig Extension =======
PRICE((http://derisilab.ucsf.edu/software/price/index.html/)) is a sequence assembler that was built for iteratively extending small contigs or reads.  It features scalable stringency: one advantage of this is that it can more flexible when coverage is low and more stringent when coverage is high.  It primarily works by matching paired-end reads to either end of the initial contig or read--matching strand sense--then converging overlaps to extend the contig.

PRICE does not perform quality analysis of reads and evaluates all reads equally.  Processing of the data should precede assembly using PRICE.
